The Project Coordinator is an integral member of the project team responsible for delivering administrative support for projects varying in size and complexity. The Project Coordinator is responsible for directing, organizing and controlling project administration activities, under the direction of the project manager in order to enhance project efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Receive communication from Project Manager regarding the outcome of negotiations/proposals (e.g., clear details, critical timeframes, and expectations)
- Attend site meetings and distribute minutes to all project team members
- Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project information to the project manager and the client
- Manage and obtain all signed project documentation from Project Manager and/or Business Development
- Monitor and review project schedule to insure compliance
- Amend any changes as received from Project Manager on the system to ensure that the project schedule is up to date
- Review the project status report on request from Manager
- Ensure that project files are updated regularly and stored in a central location
- Implementation of document management standards on all project documentation
- Assist with obtaining quotations on Project Managers request
- Maintain the change request registers per project, and update schedules
- Ensure that project contact lists are updated and distributed to all the relevant team members on a regular basis
- Provide administrative support and assist Project Manager with paperwork and change orders
- Maintain Contract Execution Tracking log
- Schedule tasks for all projects
- Plan projects as per the budget set by the client in collaboration with Managers
- Coordinate with the team members to accomplish the projects assigned
- Monitor project deliverables

Must Have
- Bachelor’s Degree/Diploma in Business Administration or Project Management
- Valid code B driver’s license and own transport
- Passed credit and criminal checks
- S.A Citizen, Resident or Valid S.A Work Permit
Nice to have
- 2 – 4 year’s relevant project management administration experience
- Basic project management methodology MPMM method 1-3 and administration
- Knowledge of project life cycles and project management principles
